Windows 10: Laptop display keeps going back to 39 Hz instead of 60 Hz.

Discus and support Laptop display keeps going back to 39 Hz instead of 60 Hz. in Windows 10 Ask Insider to solve the problem; Whenever I power off my Asus TUF FX505GT and power it on later the display is at 39 Hz and have to manually change it.     Laptop display keeps going back to 39 Hz instead of 60 Hz.


    Whenever I power off my Asus TUF FX505GT and power it on later the display is at 39 Hz and have to manually change it. Is their a setting or something where it keeps it at 60 Hz? I've looked online but couldn't find anything except 144 Hz dual monitors set ups and how they change back to 60 Hz.

    1280 x 1024 60 Hz resolution not supported by Microsoft Wireless Display adapter

    I bought a Microsoft Wireless display adapter and it is not showing me the 1280 x 1024 60 Hz resolution. It shows me 1280 x 1024 30 Hz instead. This prevents the display to show up on my monitor, which supports 280 x 1024 60 Hz resolution only.

    How can I fix this? I am using a HDMI female to VGA Male cable to connect to the monitor. My monitor does not have an HDMI port.

    Here are the reasons why you're getting the "input signal out of range, change to 1600 x 1050 @ 60 HZ" error:

    • The monitor cannot accommodate the set refresh rate (e.g. 60Hz).
    • Outdated graphics card driver

    For us to effectively assist you with this, we'd like to know the following:

    • Which build and version of Windows 10 are you running on your device?
    • What is the maximum possible refresh rate can be set for your monitor (refer to monitor's manual)?
    • Were there any changes made to your computer prior to this issue?

    "input signal out of range, change to 1600 x 1050 @ 60 HZ"

    Message on floating on external monitor I've plugged my laptop into, "input signal out of range, change to 1600 x 1050 @ 60 HZ". I have check and the display is set to 1600 x 1050. I have also checked and the monitor's drivers are current. The monitor
    is displaying, just little fuzzy.

    Any suggestions?
