Lifechat LX3000 Microphone not working on Windows 10

I installed Windows 10 upgrade from Windows 8.1. My Lifechat LX3000 Microphone was working before the upgrade. After the upgrade it no longer works. When I go to the control panel to configure it no sound is heard. Mute is not set on the headset and switching
the mute button does not fix the problem. Is there a new driver for this on Windows 10? I use my headset daily for Skype for Business activities.

I'm trying to follow the instructions, but it is not going well.

Here what I did till now (the steps below are according the steps in your instructions from the 26-Apr-2016):

1. I enter to the device manager, and uninstall LX3000 (two aps of LX3000 - the microphone and the sound).

I have also uninstalled LifeChat that was installed yesterday by me (the file from the link in your answer at the 6-Feb-2016).

2. I downloaded the file and run it, and during the installation I got a message that I need first to install "Windows Live Messenger". I tried to find such file in Microsoft site, but it was unclear there.

To be mentioned that I have Laptop.
