Windows 10: laptop does not recognize usb-stick uefi?

"System doesn't find any usb device" This sentence is there. And I can't open the windows boot manager. Turning off Uefi does not work either. Please I need help. It is an Acer Aspire 3 from 2018/19. I tried to install windows but it does not work. Even with a uefi stick.

Method 2: Clear readonly status with Diskpart

In Windows 10, 8, 7 OS, you are also able to run Diskpart in Command Prompt to clear read-only attribute on any partition on your computer. You can follow the tutorial below:

Step 1. Open Command Line and type Diskpart
Step 2. Type list disk
Step 3. Type select disk (disk number)
Step 4. Type attributes disk clear readonly





Then try Clean

 

Can't boot windows usb-stick with UEFI

I currently have win10 laptop, so i created bootable usb with MediaCreationTool, FAT32.

And when Im trying to boot it from totally clear pc, UEFI doesn't recognize flash. In case if I clear CMOS, it sees this flash as USB 3.0 or UEFI 3.0, Partition 1.

Both doesn't work, because when i go force boot from the usb stick, it looses it after reboot and asks to select proper boot device. To make UEFI see usb-stick again, I have to clear CMOS one more time.

Also, if I pass these steps, windows installer asks for missing media drivers.

Secure and Fast boot disabled, CSM enabled and legacy setting only.

 

Is it possible to install Windows 10 in UEFI mode using the original USB stick?

Same problem here. I bought windows 10 home on USB stick. USB stick is recognized in Legacy BIOS mode only. In UEFI mode isn't visible. I made my own bootable usb drive - I copied files from Microsoft’s drive and it works fine – Legacy and UEFI mode woking.

Why original USB stick not working in UEFI mode? (tested on PC and notebook – both UEFI capable)

USB Stick is useless in this form...
