Windows 10: Laptop doesn't wakes up from sleep mode on pressing keys or touchpads and on clicking power...

Hi, My laptop doesn't wakes up from sleep after 1 hour or so. Even if I click on my touchpad or press keys on my keyboard. The light on the power button still blinks but nothing happens on key press or touchpad. If I press any key after 10 minutes of sleep this problem doesn't occurs and the laptop wakes up. After a long duration this is happening.What things I have already tried.1. Turn on "Allow this device to wake up this computer" under mouse,keyboard options and USB options under device manager.2. In power options I have disabled fast startup and from BIOS also. Other than under my power

Problem: about 80% of the time, my laptop won't wake up from sleep mode via keyboard press or mouse move/click. I seem to be missing many common features in power plan too, even after fresh Windows 10 install.

Troubleshooting Steps:

1. Reinstalled Windows 10 (clean)
2. Updated all drivers
3. Replicated on multiple Windows 10 versions, updates
4. BIOS latest version
5. No USB devices attached, ever. Only USB-C power and bluetooth mouse
6. Disabled "fast startup" in control panel

 

Laptop will not wake from sleep since upgrading to Windows 10

On my Lenovo B570 laptop, if the laptop goes into sleep mode (usually happens overnight), it is not possible to wake it. Pressing any key on the keyboard does not wake it,using the touchpad also does not wake it, nor does clicking on the clickers.

The only thing that I can do is hold the power button until the laptop shuts off completely and then power it back on.

This was not a problem when it had Windows 7 on it.

Does anybody know how to fix this?

 

Windows 10 Power Options Sleep mode does not wake

Hi,

By pressing any key on the keyboard, clicking the mouse button, or opening the lid (if using a laptop), you should be able to wake up your computer from sleep. If you are having trouble doing such, we suggest that you perform the following to automatically
restore your power settings:

• Click Start > Settings > System.
• Go to Power & sleep, then click Additional power settings.
• Click the Change plan settings under your power plan.
• Click Restore default settings for this plan.
• Click Yes to confirm.

We also recommend that you run the Power troubleshooter by following the steps below:

• Type Troubleshooting in Cortana, the search box on your task bar.
• Click on View All on the left panel.
• Click Power, then follow the on screen instructions.
