Windows 10: Laptop dosen't restart when charger is plugged in & charging is turned ON / OFF.

To,Microsoft Community.Hey this is Gavin Mathos. Using Windows 11 Version 22H2 OS Laptop. I am facing issue while restarting as follows:→ When My laptop charger is plugged off removed from charging port, I try to restart my laptop, It restarts properly. → When My laptop charger is plugged in charging port & charging is turned ON / OFF & I try to restart my laptop, then Blank Screen appears but laptop is in ON State / Background Process is running while "White Light" Blinks for 7 times followed by "Orange Light" Blinks for 2 times & so on continues located besides Charging Port {A

Laptop won't charge after unplugging, charger is fine.

Laptop : HP 250 G5 W4M71EA
BIOS VER F.45
BIOS VENDOR Insyde

Charger works fine.
Indicators show white light when turned on and orange when turned off and battery is plugged in.

Resetting BIOS settings to default makes the charger work fine until I plug it out.
After unplugging and plugging it back in it does not charge.

What can be the cause?

When closing and opening the lid laptop is detecting the charger properly but upon re plugging it's not working again.
The issue is that the laptop doesn't detect it's being charged while being turned on.

 

Laptop charging icon shows charging even when my charger is not plugged in

Hi, thank you for your suggestion. I followed all the steps mentioned by you. The issue stopped temporarily. The issue started again today. The moment I switched the laptop on, the charging icon was showing that the laptop is charging even though the charger
was not plugged in. The charging light was also on. I had to plug in the charger and switch it on and off to stop this automatic charging.

Is there any other way to solve this issue? Also, is there a chance that there is bug in the latest update?

I am worried that my laptop battery will get spoiled.

 

Windows 11: Laptop restarting when charger is plugged in

If I try to charge my laptop while I'm working, as soon as I plug the charger in it begins restarting and does not stop at all. I've tried shutting my laptop down and then charging and it works it charges the battery but I cant work and charge my laptop at the same time. As soon as i boot my laptop if the charger is plugged in, the laptop starts restarting. I bought a new charger because I thought that the adapter was faulty or something, the first time I plugged the new charger in it worked but the second time I had the same exact problem. While the laptop is restarting, the interface says something among the lines of: fixing problems. Thanks ahead for the help!
