Windows 10: LAPTOP EXTERNAL MONITOR USING ONLY GPU , BUT I NEED EXT MONITOR TO RUN IT ON INTEGRATED CPU

when an external monitor connected to Laptop using HDMI cable it is using NVdia GPU automatically and consuming laptop battery power quickly, which I dont wanted. because my work on EXTERNAL screen is very limited. when we run like video or anything on external monitor, I am clearly able to see GPU1 performance parameter in Taskbar is spiking. so it is clear that ext monitor is using only Nvdia gpu so is there any way that I can connect external monitor to Laptop's Integrated CPU.HP Victus 15 Intel Core i5 13th Gen 13420H NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050

How to use intel graphics card instead of nvidia when using external monitor ?

I have a LG external monitor with GSync and a Acer Nitro Laptop with Nvidia 1060t graphics. Whenever i connect my laptop to the external monitor and close the lid of laptop (2nd display only) the monitor and all the apps on Laptop start to run on nvidia gpu instead of intel cpu.

I tried to look many ways to switch to intel cpu or intel graphics but none of them work. Due to monitor and apps running on nvidia gpu laptop heats like crazy and fan start to run on full speed.

Please suggest what to do.

Check your NVIDIA Control Panel settings to ensure that your laptop is set to use the dedicated graphics card instead of the integrated one.

Check if there is a BIOS update available for your laptop and install it if there is.

Ensure you disabled the integrated graphics card in Device Manager. Note: Do not uninstall the driver; disable it.

Note: It's expected that your laptop uses an integrated GPU while doing typical tasks on your laptop screen; it will switch to dedicated automatically when you start to do heavy tasks. If the external monitor uses a dedicated GPU because it's connected to the dedicated GPU directly.

Laptop suddenly stopped recognizing the external monitor
