Windows 10: Laptop Fan constantly working after the latest Windows 11 update on Feb 27, 2024.

Immediately after the latest Windows 11 update, the laptop fan started working super fast and super hard without pause. I have tried updating the drivers, but everything checks out fine. Windows is becoming more and more sloppy, unstable and cluttered on many levels. I am seriously considering moving to Apple, even though I have been a PC guy from the beginning.

I have a Lenovo ideapad 520S, after installing Windows 11 my fan is constantly working on high speed. How can I solve this problem?

 

Fans Running Constantly After Latest Windows Update

I recently installed the latest Windows update (10.0.18363) and since then my laptops fans have been running constantly at full speed. My laptop is only a few months old and I have made sure to keep the vents clean. I have also checked both the usage and
temperature of my CPU, GPU, and SSD and they are well within the normal range. The fans continue to run at full speed even when the usage of all of those components is well below 5%. The laptop is also dual booted with Ubuntu and the fans run normally when
I am booted into Ubuntu so this is not a hardware issue. What are some potential fixes for this problem? My laptop is a RazerBlade 15" with an Intel I7 CPU and an Nvidia RTX 2070 MaxQ GPU.

 

HP Laptop Fan runs constantly


Here's my situation. It seems that after last weeks round of Windows 10 Updates, the fan on my Laptop constantly runs.
I've done a lot of search on symptoms for my HP model and getting all kinds of mixed solutions and want to be sure of what to do before I start downloading and updating. This could only make my situation much worse than I have now.

My Specs are:
HP Envy 17T-J100
Windows 10 Versions 10.0.14393 Build 14393
Processor - Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-4700MQ CPU @ 2.40GHz, 4 Core(s), 8 Logical Processors
Bios Version = Insyd F.65 11/20/14
SMBIOS Version = 2.7
Intell HD Graphics 4600

Any help and suggestions of how to fix this would really be appreciated.
