    Hi,Although this isn't that big of an issue, but I have noticed recently that my laptop fans only runs on max speed if the laptop is hot and doesn't run when it isn't. In the past there used to be some in-between fan speeds but now it turns on after a while then stops abruptly then turns on again in 5 minutes then stops suddenly again. Even when the laptop is sleeping it still does this and can get quite annoying.Thank you for reading.

    Hi Vijay,

    thanks for response. I tried your steps with a Google DNS and Open DNS - but it doesn´t help.

    The game still crashes in the moment I try to run it.

    I'll be glad for another solutions.

    Laptop Fan Running Constantly

    Download OpenHarwareMonitor.
    Extract to C:\Program Files (x86)\HardwareMonitor and run OpenHarwareMonitor.exe
    It will track the temperatures (current, min & Max). Unfortunately laptops don't monitor fan speed.
    You can configure what to show on the gadget and try.
    You can set to run on startup

    Laptop Fan Running Constantly

    Three year old HP laptop, fan has always been noisy but this is new. I have tried everything I have found via Google to stop the fan but nothing is working. If I put the laptop on battery the fan stops almost immediately but as soon as its plugged in it starts again. There is no difference in the power setting for System Cooling. Any suggestions other than tearing it apart?
