Windows 10: Laptop Fan Running Constantly Loud

I got my laptop August of 2020 and over the past few months whenever I'm using it the fan will constantly be running super loud and sounds like a vacuum cleaner even if I check task manager and see the computer is using low resouces. Sometimes after a while of it being on the fan will shut off and not turn back on until a shut off my laptop and turn it back on. Other times it'll shut off for a while then randomly turn back on or start reving on and off repedidly. The performance of the laptop is not affected and if I feel it it does not feel hot like it is overheating.Manufacturer: HPModel: H

Fan runs constantly

Hi,

The fan in the laptop is constantly running to cool down the cpu and it is normal for it to increase it's speed, your fan should run quietly even it increases the rpm. But if you hear a loud noise in the fan, there may the issue with CPU utilization which
increases the temperature in the system.

Laptop Windows 10 noisy fan constantly running

I have been having an issue with my Laptop fan constantly running @ high speed creating an unbearable noise that is making it hard to work.

My processor is almost at idle when this happens only between 1-5% when viewed on Task Manager. It will be silent for about 5-10 minutes. sometimes up to an hour, then it will start up again slow at first/being engaged then with 10 seconds is at full speed making a loud noise.

The only way I can stop the noise is to pound the area above the fan and it immediately will stop, that is if I let it run loud and noisy for a few minutes up to 10 minutes, otherwise pounding on it won't stop the fan from making noise.

I recently received an automatic update from Windows 10 about 2 weeks ago and that is when this problem really became bad, there was some issues with the fan before but would only happen once a week, now it happens throughout the day constantly.

What tools can I use to diagnois this issue and from the description would you say is happening.

The battery in my Laptop is spent will no longer hold a charge and is dead.

• Does the fan runs constantly fast or do you hear any noise?
• Have you tried updating all the drivers of your computer?
• Have you tried any troubleshooting steps before posting this concern? If yes, what are those?
• What is the memory/disk usage in task manager?

  and hit Enter. Check which application
  is taking more memory or disk usage.
