Windows 10: Laptop fans go full speed in minutes than it shuts down

Hey there! So, before anyone says it's a heat issue, laptop has been cleaned recently and currently does not have an operating system, I tried to do a clean install of windows 10 but before I can even start the installation, fans go crayz and it shuts down. precisely After a minute or so all of the fans go full speed Fan speed is locked at that point no way to change it than laptop goes to black screen fo a second or so and finally shuts down completely. This happens with or without battery or plugged into an outlet. Before my attempted and failed clean install, I did some testing and c

Asus Laptop Fan Keeps Running When Shut Down

I don't when it started, but the cooling fan runs at high speed every time I am running on battery and shut down. The battery eventually is drained, and then the fan stops. It does NOT happen when plugged in and shut down. I have tried every suggestion that I can fins online, and nothing works. The only workaround is to put the laptop in Sleep Mode instead of Hibernate. Anybody else have this problem? I am running Windows 10.

We would suggest you to update the following items and check the cpu fan speed and performance.

Check if there is a program to control the fan speed, may be the controller program is not compatible with Windows 10. Also check for the below list and please update it:

• BIOS.
• Chipset drivers.

If you don't find the drivers compatible for Windows 10. refer to the motherboard manufacturer website and check for updated chipset drivers and install it.
