Windows 10: Laptop fans still running when computer is on sleep mode

This is happening whether I put the computer to sleep by closing the lid, or by hitting sleep in the Windows Start Menu power options. It's an Asus ROG Zephyrus 2024, and it did not use to have this problem, and I don't know what caused it. Can anyone help me figure this out and fix it?

Fans Run after sleep mode

Hi, is it normal in Windows 10 for a laptop fan to still run after putting the device to sleep?

This is using the power button or sleep button from the start menu.

This is on a Dell 5520 and an XPS 7390, does anyone happen to know?

Also is it possible to see what could possibly be waking a laptop up from sleep?

Laptop in sleep mode

I am a college student and use my laptop everyday. I am constantly storing my laptop and taking it out of my backpack between classes. Is it ok to keep my laptop on sleep mode as I move between classes or should I power off? I have both an ssd and hhd so it doesn’t take very long to power on an off but I have read forums that suggest frequently powering on and off hurts the battery. Sometimes it seems that my fans are still running when I put my laptop in sleep mode so I am worried about my laptop being in my bag.

 

Asus Laptop Fan Keeps Running When Shut Down

I don't when it started, but the cooling fan runs at high speed every time I am running on battery and shut down. The battery eventually is drained, and then the fan stops. It does NOT happen when plugged in and shut down. I have tried every suggestion that I can fins online, and nothing works. The only workaround is to put the laptop in Sleep Mode instead of Hibernate. Anybody else have this problem? I am running Windows 10.
