    Laptop forgot it has wifi


    My laptop has been dropping connection to wifi for a few days now. I’m running Windows 10 with an Intel Dual Band Wireless 8265.

    Sometimes it disconnects and when I look at the Network panel, it doesn’t seem to be trying to look for open connections. Also, the wifi toggle disappears. When I look at Network Connections, I can only see Bluetooth and Ethernet, no wifi.

    I’ve tried reinstalling the Intel drivers even tried using Intel’s diagnostic tool but it only fixes it for a few minutes until it drops connection.

    Anyone know what might be happening?
