    laptop freezes 5-10 minutes after start up for 5-7 minutes every time


    hi, every time i turn on or restart after 5-10 minutes there is a definite freezing for about 5-7 minutes, then it becomes totally fine. first occurred when i was watching a video on VLC, so i thought it was a problem in it , then no matter what application i have open at the time, laptop freezes. i have windows 10 . can anyone help?

    my son laptiop wifi disconnect after 5 minutes

    • If you have an identical laptop try comparing the wifi and security settings of the one that does not disconnect with the one that does. If you find any differences change the settings of the one that does not work to the one that does.

    Automatic disk defrag every 5 minutes when idle


    Every time i leave my computer idle for 5 minutes, disk defragmenting starts acting up. It never did this on Windows 7, and its very annoying. This causes my fan to speed up and it stays that way until i give it some input.

    I always put my computer to sleep when I'm done using it, and would rather defragment manually. I want to turn this 5 minute defragging off, but how?
