    Laptop freezes after screen turning off or pc idling, freezes randomly quite frequently too...


    Unresponsiveness includes: no display updates, keyboard led lights don't turn on/offhowever closing lid does turn off keyboard backlight,no display output from HDMI cable,last tone repeats itself continuously in a buzzing manner if music is being played. Laptop specs:i5 8265u, 8gb LPDDR3 2133mhz memory, mx250 graphics,Disk -INTEL SSDPEKNW512G8. Tried out the following: checked for virus via malwarebytes and windows defender ,ran windows memory diagnostic tool twice, checked crystaldiskinfo,resetted windows 2x and did a full reset once but it did freeze during the process, ran chkdsk command,

    Windows 10 freezes randomly


    I had already tried turning off fast startup, to no avail.
    Will look at the list you provided, thanks. Hard to do when computer freezes on the Windows loading screen though. *Biggrin
    I had tried that as well... no result.

    Windows 10 freezes randomly


    Turning off fast startup helped with this issue for another user on a different forum. For newbies, see steps Windows 10 Freezes Randomly.
