Windows 10: Laptop freezes after startup

My laptop Asus X556UQK from 2017 i always use it plugged since the battery doesnt really last and i always use it on mximum performance, but recently its crashing upon start, whether is on the login screen or while its loading the taskbar or the startup logo black screen, and i always must force restart the pc; i have checked the task manager startup apps and it remains the same without any suspicious app, and i have done virus checking, still nothing.


i would really appreciate help on this, because i have a lot of work on this pc and wouldn't want to mess it up with many forced resets.

Windows 10 freezing at log in

A failed update or one-time startup process can sometimes cause stopping, freezing, or reboot-loop issues during the login process. To isolate the issue, we suggest that you answer the following questions:

• Do you have a USB device attached? If yes, can you remove the device and log in again.
  
• Have you tried turning off the WiFi feature in your laptop before logging in?
  
• How about running a Startup Repair in your Windows 10 laptop? (Boot to Advanced Startup Options>Click on Troubleshoot> Click on Advanced options> Click on Startup Repair)
• Aside from the above steps, what other troubleshooting steps have you done so far?

Laptop freezes at startup

My laptop keeps freezing at startup and the problem is getting worse. It happens in the following way: when I start Windows, laptop comes to a halt and then freezes with Hdd light either on or off. Then I need to press the power button for long.
