    Laptop freezes every 30 seconds for a few seconds when the charger is not plugged in


    I noticed that my cpu usage randomly spikes up which is probably the cause of my laptop freezing every 30 seconds. Please help me with a solution. I use an intel i5 12th gen 16gb ram 512 ssd

    Hello, I am sorry to hear that you are having issues with your battery charger. I would suggest for you to try going to the HP website and downloading the latest driver for your battery charger and installing it. If this doesn't work, you will need to
    discharge the battery. You may do so by doing the following, 1. Take out the laptop battery 2. Disconnect and power cables and other cables. 3. Hold the Power button for 30 to 40 seconds 4. Put the battery back into the laptop 5. Plug the power cables in.
    Now try to turn on the laptop. Hope this helps!
