Windows 10: Laptop freezes seemingly during standby, found this error in event viewer: The System Guard...

Since yesterday 3/7/25 I've been experiencing a strange error on my laptop. I left it running without supervision and when I eventually got back, I could hear the fans running but it wouldn't react to any input, the light up keys also wouldn't light up anymore and my connected Mouse, which is also light up, was completely dark as if disconnected from the laptop completely.I had to hold down the power key till my laptop shut down, then I was able to boot it up normally. I've observed this exact issue four times already but it only seems to happen when I'm not at my laptop, so during standby t

Error in Event Viewer

As you have mentioned, you have performed a repair installation on the computer and you see Event 508, 510 and 533 in Event Viewer.



I would like to inform that if you see any critical error in Event Viewer, please share the event logs with us to help you with the appropriate troubleshooting steps. Please follow the steps mentioned below to share the event logs:

1. Press Windows + X from the keyboard, select
   Event Viewer.
   
2. Expand Windows Logs from the left pane and select
   Applications.
   
3. Click Filter Current Log from extreme right pane. Then in the new windows check the box beside
   Error and click OK.
   
4. Now, look for a critical Error in the list and note down the message/information from the
   General Tab in the lower section.

ATi Tool error in Event Viewer

I uninstalled ATI Tool about a month ago, yet there are still ATI Tool related error messages sprinkled throughout my Event Viewer. This is what the error is:

"The following boot-start or system-start driver(s) failed to load:
ATITool"

Why is it there? Has ATI Tool not uninstalled correctly? *Bang Head :banghead:

Help please.

 

Unclear Event Viewer Errors and System Hitching

Windows Version: Windows 10 22H2 (OS Build: 19045.4046) I've been having a recurring issue for a while and I've hit a bit of a wall in terms of figuring out what's causing it. My PC has been experiencing minor 'hitching' for a while, initially I thought it was just something going on with my wireless mouse since the hitch would only ever visibly affect mouse movement (no audio freezing or any other visual freezing, seemingly.) This was always super brief and only ever a minor inconvenience. Then at some point later I started getting graphics driver crashes which were resolved by using DDU to get rid of the driver and installing an order Nvidia driver, the hitching continued however and in a few cases has lasted up to a few seconds. A few days ago I thought to check Event Viewer around the time one of the freezes happened and sure enough, around 90% of the time when I notice a hitch, an error shows up in the System log in Event Viewer however it seems so generic and lacking detail that there's no real indication of what's actually causing it. I have tried googling the issue multiple times before posting here and found only things that weren't entirely relevant or things that unfortunately did not help. One of the things I found was to run the sfc /scannow and DISM /online /Cleanup-image /restorehealth commands. The first time I ran sfc it did find something that was corrupted and apparently fixed it (though it made no impact on the hitching) and the DISM command ran and completed uneventfully. SFC has found no integrity violations the few times I've run it since. These are the errors that appear in event viewer:
