Windows 10: laptop freezes since installing win 11

Discus and support laptop freezes since installing win 11 in Windows 10 Gaming to solve the problem; since installing win11, my laptop constantly freezes.I can't use the touchpad or mouse to restart the pc. to restart I have to fold the monitor down,...     laptop freezes since installing win 11


    since installing win11, my laptop constantly freezes.I can't use the touchpad or mouse to restart the pc. to restart I have to fold the monitor down, and fold it up again

    Windows Vista Wont Install Freezes?

    had the same problem, freezes and long installation including each step loading, in my case a bios update helped.

    But if you insist on reverting to Win 10, do it like this...

    1. Make a full backup of Win 11 first.
    2. Then backup your drivers... Backup and Restore Device Drivers in Windows 10
    3. Then just do a clean install of Windows 10... Clean Install Windows 10


    Sometimes laptops have weird drivers, that aren't always easy to come by. This is why we backup the drivers.

    A full backup of Windows 11 is just a smart move, in case you change your mind.
    Make sure to make the bootable backup media, in case Windows won't boot... you can still access your backups.
    Two free backup programs are Macrium Reflect and AOMEI Backupper.

    Installing W10 on this Laptop

    HP Stream 11 under Windows 10 - Touchpad not recognized.

    Are you making sure you are trying the correct driver for the WiFi... They list Broadcom, Intel, and/or Realtek.

    Also, try to run the installer as an administrator install.

    If that fails... try extracting the files and manually install the driver.
