    Laptop frequently locking due to temperature


    Recently, my laptop has been overheating and constantly locking my computer which is incredibly annoying. I do not have many apps open, but the temperature skyrockets to 90 Celcius+. In short, is there a way to decrease temperature quickly? It happened after I changed Number of processors to 8, but I have unchecked it and changed it to 1. Is there a way to help with temperature? If there is more information needed, just notify me Laptop frequently locking due to temperature :DNote: My laptop is Dell Latitude 3300

    Outside temperature display in taskbar

    I followed these steps exactly and the only thing showing in my task bar is a sun icon but not temperatures are being displayed.

    Gpu temperature

    Normally, GPUs are extremely hot because of the simultaneous process between the software and the hardware. It looks like you still not exceeded with the temperature limit of your GPU. I would really suggest hibernating your laptop for a while until it
    is really cool down.
