Windows 10: laptop from high school, i gradutated but now i need to activate windows?

in year 8 we got HP laptops with windows 10 already installed and set up n stuff. I graduated last year, and since then I've had a little overlay on the bottom right of my screen saying 'activate windows, go to settings to activate windows' except when i go to do so it comes up with a red error message saying i cant attached is a pic of the errori can still use my laptop that's why I've left it this long but I'm sick of it now,, how do i fix it??

When I started high school we were using a No.2 pencil. When I finished high school I was still using a No.2 pencil except now the end was chewed off *Wink

The problem your are facing is most likely caused due to your school having activated those PC's using Volume Licensing within the school Network or to be more precise IT department of the school.

If the Connection to this Sever has no outbound connection there is unfortunately no way to reach it. So the best Option without changing anything on the laptop is to be to contact the school. Hence some schools have penalties for performing unwanted changes
on the Laptops given to students.
