Windows 10: Laptop hangs

I started an online job and was requested to download an App called Slack. So, whenever the jobs are posted on slack and I click to start, my computer hangs, slack also does not respond and the browser also does not respond. My internet is very stable and my computer is functioning well. The company tells me that the problem is on my side and not on their side. Anyone with an idea what might be the problem and how to solve it? It has costed me my job so far.Thanks and will appreciate any help

Laptop hangs unexpectedly

When the drive is made there are only 4 files as seen in the screenshot.



I have a win10bootable usb. It shows up in the boot list. but mem86 usb dosen't show up.
