Windows 10: Laptop has been BSODing in specific circumstances. [DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE] 0x0000009f

Hi,My laptop has been freezing and BSODing after some minutes for as long as I can remember having it. It only happens when trying to load something i.e. loading games, browsing the web, freezes and bluescreens every time I try to use apps like BlueStacks I've tried almost everything I could and ran many of the generated minidumps in WinDbg to try to locate the issue but I'm fairly young and don't have enough knowledge to actually fix the problem so I'm coming here. BlueScreenView has tried to pinpoint ntoskrnl.exe+3f72e0 and similar address variations as the fault, and during driver verif

DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE, 0x0000009f afer wakeup

hi,
recently ive been getting [table][tr][td]DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE[/td] [td]0x0000009f[/td] [/tr] [/table]

after wakeup from sleep. Two new things have happened before it started, but dont know if its connected.

updated to insider 17744.1003 and updated intel driver to 24.20.100.6286.

Any clues whats going on?

Hi,

I've got BSOD when cold start the computer.

Computer is DELL Alienware Aurora R8.

I already open a support case at DELL support.

All drivers, chipsets and BIOS are up-to-date.

Windows 10 ver 1909 (18363.693) is up-to-date

Graphics pilotes are up-to-date too.

I'va done advanced analyse with Driver Verifier and WinDbg (Windows Debugger).

The WinDbg report invokes xusb22.sys

If I correctly understood, when the PC boot with bluetooth enable, it try to connect to the gamepad controller but crash with "A device object has been blocking an Irp for too long a time". No problem when boot with bluetooth disable.

DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE (0x0000009f) Crash in Sleep

Hi there,

I have recently experienced an issue where my desktop crashes and restarts just as it enters sleep (occurring maybe 30% of the time). Debugging shows that this is as a result of a DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE (bugcheckcode: 0x0000009f). Reading elsewhere suggests
this happens due to a particular driver, so I tried updating my Nvidia, Intel wireless, and chipset drivers to no avail.

Unfortunately, bluescreenview and WhoCrashed only report the kernel task ntoskrnl.exe as the culprit so it has been hard to pinpoint what exactly is causing the problem.

Would appreciate any advice on resolving this.

AMD Ryzen 5 1600 CPU

MSI Mortar B350 motherboard (latest BIOS)

16GB GSkill Trident Z RAM

GTX 1070 GPU
