Windows 10: Laptop has stuttering and ocasional freezing when low demand

Hi, so i have this problem where my laptop stutter and sometimes it freezes while doing anything but playing videogames, the light in my laptop which indicates my ssd is being used suddenly is static and the laptop freezes for like 1 second and then is back to normal, but if im listening to music or watching a video it majes a weird noise and sometimes the laptop freezes completely, but the weird thing is that this problem doesn’t happen when im playing high demand videogames, ive checked everything, temperatures, optimization of my ssd but i cant fix it.my laptop is an asus tuf gaming f15RTX

My low demand video games are vusually stuttering on a high performance new laptop. How do I fix it?

I received a new Razer 16 gaming laptop. Geforce rtx 4090 graphics card, i9 14900 hx processor, 240 hz 16" qhd. It runs Windows 11.

I did all of the setup - let all of the updates go through as of 5-22-24. I download my game launcher, and download a low demand game, Kynseed.

When I move my character in this game, there is a visible stuttering. As if the frame rate is tanked. This was the only application running. Task manager said memory usage was the highest: 35% max with the game running.

I started to test. I turned all the graphics settings to low. No difference. I clicked the 3 Windows "Game Mode Graphics Settings" options on and off. No difference. I tried full screen vs. Windowed. No difference.

I downloaded Cyberpunk 2077 and did some tests on that. First, I played the game on "Ultra" graphics settings. Then, "low". Still saw the stuttering on both. I ran a benchmark test on low graphics settings. Framerate was over 100.

I went to the NVIDIA website and downloaded the latest "GEforc Game Ready driver". No improvement in stuttering for both games.

Please help. I ran out of ideas, and am wondering if it's Windows 11 or maybe my new laptop is broken =<

Win 10 CU (not FCU) stutters and freezes a lot with various operations

I get momentary freezes and stuttering with a range of Windows menu operations. *sarc These are the ones that are top of mind but I'm sure there are others. Win 10 Pro 64, up to date on patches.

• Xing out a FireFox tab
• Click on FILE menu (drop down is delayed)
• FILE > Print (printer list or print menu is delayed)
• Selecting a higher level on the file path in the SAVE menu
• Search menu at bottom of Windows
• Typing in many situations.

Any suggestions? Or this this a known problem in Win 10? I've had this problem for some time, but lately it has gotten me really PO'ed.*Confused
