Windows 10: Laptop having issue with internet driver & connection

My laptop is having trouble with internet connections, it shows that I'm connected but I'm not even able to ping my router 192.168.0.1. I have used an Ethernet cable and it still does not work.I have tried the usual ipconfig flush, winsock reset, windows troubleshooting, sfc scan, etc but no luck. I have also reinstalled my drivers both from the laptop OEM and newest one.When opening Google Chrome ERR_INTERNET_DISCONNECTED is my error.After typing "ipconfig /all" this is the only output

Losing internet connection intermittently only on laptop

• Have you tried updating your drivers?
• Did you receive any error messages?

We suggest that you try the troubleshooting steps below and check if it will solve the issue:

1. Type troubleshooting in the search bar.

2. Select Troubleshooting.

3. Select View all on the top left corner.

4. Click on Internet Connections.

5. Follow the on-screen instructions to run the troubleshooter.

If the issue persists then follow the below method.

Method 2:

We suggest you to update the Network adapters driver from the Device Manager.

Follow the below steps:

1. Right click on Start button and click on
Device Manager.

2. Expand the
Network adapters driver from the list.

3. Right click on the driver and click on
Update driver Software.

Have a Toshiba laptop and will not stay connected to the internet

Issue with connecting to Internet

To understand the issue better, I would need more information from your end.

• Are you using wired or wireless Internet Connection?
• What is the make and model of the computer?

This issue could have occurred due to these reasons:

1. Incorrect network settings.

2. Outdated network drivers.



Try the steps listed here and check if it helps:



Method 1:

I suggest you to run the “Internet Connection and Network Adapter troubleshooters” which will check if basic network settings are set correctly. Check if it helps.

a. Press “Windows Key + W”.

b. Type “Troubleshooting” in the search box and hit enter.

c. Select “Network and Internet” option.

d. First select “Internet connections” troubleshooter.

e. Follow the on-screen instructions.

f. Then select “Network Adapter” troubleshooter and then follow the on-screen instructions.



Method 2:

If the issue persists, I suggest you to download and install latest network drivers on all the computers from the computer manufacturer website and check if it helps.
If Windows 10 drivers are not available, I would suggest you to install driver in compatibility mode.



To install the network
driver in compatibility mode, I would suggest you to follow these steps:

a. Download the latest audio driver from the manufacturer’s website and save it on your local disk.

b. Right-click on the setup file of the driver and select “Properties”.

c. Select “Compatibility” Tab.

d. Place a check mark next to “Run this program in Compatibility mode” and
select latest Windows version from the drop down list.

e. Let the driver install and then check the functionality.
