Windows 10: Laptop help

I hope someone here can help me, haven't had any luck in any other tech subs.



I have this HP elitebook revolve 810 G2 that i mainly use for school and such. But i sometimes use it for light gaming when i'm not home, portal 2 and SDW mostly. But when i turned it on today it wouldn't boot properly, it sits at a black screen with the HP logo, i can't even log in. I'm running windows 10

I've tried turning it on and of multiple times, with and without the batery in it.

Tried reinstaling windows through the BIOS menu, but it won't even start it for some reason. I also tried the troubleshooting from the same menu, but to no avail

Rolling ack windows back to an earlier version aren't working either, i think the last thing the laptop did before shuting of was update.

It won't factory reset either, the diognostic tool aren't working and the automatic repair tool aren't either.

Any help is welcome. Idk what else to try, can't get to the login screen.

Which laptop should I buy with budget within 1000USD?

Really, you should be getting a list of laptops you like the look of, narrowing it down and then asking on here which is best.

Asking people for suggestions really doesn't work well as most people only have experience with 1-2 laptops at a time.

Searching all the shopping sites and creating a list for you is a lot of work.

You need to do the work and we can help with the rest.
