Windows 10: Laptop infinitely stuck restarting/working on updates?

My laptop ever since I checked it this morning has constantly been in a loop of restarting. Starting as a normal boot up with a buffer icon then switching to "working on updates 30%" which then the cycle repeats, constantly and without fail. I've currently tried entering safe mode which did nothing, resetting it which fails as it says "there was a problem resetting your PC" as well as when i tried to automatic repair an error appeared as "logfiles srt srttrail.txt". How do i solve this and allow my laptop to actually boot up?

The tutorials provided are just a list of troubleshooting steps. Use only the steps which apply to you.

Since none of the troubleshooting steps here worked, I'd suggest you do a Clean install.

Windows 10 infinite update and restart loop

This has been a problem for a while now. My laptop is stuck in an infinite update and restart loop. This means that it tries to install updates (without letting me log in) fails, and restarts. After it restarts, it repeats the process. Can anyone help
with this?

Thank you john for all of your help i decided to get the usb my computer came with and factory reset it i didnt have anything that personal or valueable so its ok thanks for the help though i appreciate it
