Windows 10: Laptop is frozen on blue screen after restarting after driver updates. Help needed

My laptop is frozen on a blue screen. It was updating some outdated divers. It requested to restart and I did. It has not restarted despite trying to power down laptop, trying control+alt+delete, control +shift +escape, taking out battery for 60 seconds. It has been frozen for 7 hours. Nothing I do works. You can hear the fan running. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you.

Laptop frozen on Restarting screen. Windows 10

Restarted Dell Inspiron Windows 10 laptop after being unable to type text in internet pages. Laptop is now frozen on blue Restarting screen (the dots which normally circle are also frozen). Laptop will not respond to any key inputs. Pressing power off
switch also has no effect. No re-start button on the laptop. Can only think to let the battery run down and restart ?? Battery cannot be easily disconnected. Any advice please ??
