Windows 10: laptop is glitchy after sleep mode & shutdown

After I power up my laptop after it exits sleep mode or even after normal shutdown, the laptop moves very slow and glitchy...     laptop is glitchy after sleep mode & shutdown


    So here's the problem.

    After I power up my laptop after it exits sleep mode or even after normal shutdown,

    the laptop moves very slow and glitchy even cursor moves are glitchy, the taskbar options completely

    disappear and and only thing that remains is Airplane Mode.

    This problem is usually solved after a restart but sometime after 2 or even 3 restarts.


    System:

    - Processor: Intel i5-6300HQ - CPU 2.30 GHz

    - RAM - 8GB

    -64bit system


    It's a Lenovo idea pad, don't remember the exact model.

    Laptop shutdown in Sleep mode

    Hi .. i have an ASUS notebook pc that running windows 8.1 system .. and i upgraded to windows 10 .

    so after the upgrade i have faced a problem that wasn't exist before .. when i put my laptop in sleep mode it shutdown instead

    of sleeping and i had already checked my Power settings and nothing change .. that's all .

    i will appreciate any help .

    Hello,

    I have a problem with windows 10 which is going to sleep mode instead of shuting down.

    I changed power settings to shutdown after closing the lid and to go to sleep mode when I press power button.

    Now, when I press power button system starts to shutdown. Then I close the lid and system goes to sleep mode during shutdown process...

    When I open the lid again the laptop wakes up and continues to shut down.

    Is it normal behaviour? In my opinion system shouldn't go to sleep when is shutting down.

    Version 10.0.18363 Build 18363

    System Model UX490UAR
    System Type x64-based PC
    SMBIOS Version 3.0

    Problem: about 80% of the time, my laptop won't wake up from sleep mode via keyboard press or mouse move/click. I seem to be missing many common features in power plan too, even after fresh Windows 10 install.

    Troubleshooting Steps:

    1. Reinstalled Windows 10 (clean)
    2. Updated all drivers
    3. Replicated on multiple Windows 10 versions, updates
    4. BIOS latest version
    5. No USB devices attached, ever. Only USB-C power and bluetooth mouse
    6. Disabled "fast startup" in control panel
