    I hope I post this in the right sub. I've got a Toshiba laptop with Windows 10 pro (version 1909; build from operating system 18363.778) and it's just over 5 years old. It works fine, but for a week I've got a few problems and I think it was caused by an update. At the beginning of the week my Excel kept crashing. I couldn't make my text bold, cursive of give it another colour, but that works again.

    Since yesterday I've restarted my laptop over 10 times because it kept crashing. What happens it that my screen will just freeze and I can't get to task manager. Only a hard reboot will help this, then it will start up fine (maybe a little bit slower) and the same problem will occur within 30 minutes.

    A little update history: 16-4-2020: KB4549951 20-4-2020: feature update to Windows 10 Version 1909 via Enablement Package (KB4517245)

    There is an update ready to install (Download in progress): cumulative update for .NET Framework 3.5 and 4.8 for Windows 10 Version 1909 for x64 (KB4537572)

    My question is: what's the best thing to do now? Delete the last update KB4517245 of install one that's ready to download KB4537572?

    Help please ~ laptop keeps rebooting

    My laptop keeps crashing and re-crashing giving the following error message when rebooting:

    kernal_auto_boost_lock_acquisition_with_raised_irql

    How do I fix this please?

    all games crash!

    ive watch my temps and both the cpu and gpu are within normal ranges. when it freezes it simply freezes the image and stops the sound. i must reboot to get back to windows.
