    Laptop keeps crashing when trying to play a geforce now game


    The computer has rebooted from a bugcheck. The bugcheck was: 0x00000164 0x000000000000001b, 0xffffa50c25c2a6a0, 0x0000000000000000, 0x0000000000000000. A dump was saved in: C:\WINDOWS\MEMORY.DMP. Report Id: 35ef440e-aa63-41ed-9f6b-4e9324dd3039.How do i fix this? HP EliteBook 845 G8. This happens ONLY when i try to run a game on geforce now, the system will freeze and hard reboot, every single time.

    BSOD with error code VIDEO_DXGKRNL_FATAL_ERROR whenever i try to play any games on my laptop

    My HP Gaming Laptop keeps crashing with a blue screen saying "VIDEO_DXGKRNL_FATAL_ERROR" when I play games while plugged in. But it works fine on battery!

    Maybe it's something with the power settings or the graphics stuff messing up?

    Here's my laptop info:

    • HP Pavilion Gaming
    • Intel Core i5 (9th Gen)
    • NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650
    • Windows 11
    I attached those crash thingy files (minidumps) too.

    Can you help me fix this so I can play games without my laptop going crazy?

    Laptop keeps locking when playing a game.

    Every time i try to play a game with my laptop and an external monitor my computer keeps locking and going into sleep mode, I have my display settings to only show on my external monitor and It only locks when playing a demanding game.

    My graphic drivers are up to date.
    NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 TI
    AMD Ryzen 7 3750H with Radeon Vega Mobile Gfx
    16GB RAM

    Laptop keeps crashing when trying to play a geforce now game

    Games keep crashing

    Most games I try playing crash after 5-10 minutes. I started having issues a couple months ago after I upgraded my PC but they went away after fixing corrupt files. It started happening again a couple weeks ago but stopped after reinstalling windows. Now it's happening again and neither solution has worked.

    Specs:

    Processor (new): Ryzen 7 7700X

    RAM (new): g.skill flare x5 32GB

    Motherboard (new): Asus TUF Gaming B650M Plus WiFi

    GPU: Nvidia Geforce GTX 1060

    Things I've tried:

    • wiping entire C: drive and reinstalling windows
    • updating windows including all optional updates
    • updating drivers
    • updating BIOS
