Windows 10: Laptop keeps scrolling on some things right up left or down

So, i started having this problem today, thought it was some mouse problem, disconnected it, nope, maybe touch pad from laptop. nope, literally, nothing works, i did the keytesting thing to see if it presses the page down key or something automaticlly, not either, i literally cannot play Forza Horizon 4 as an example because it keeps zooming on the map, on youtube, if i hover the cursor to the volume, it automaticlly increases it, if i go to settings, it just keeps going down, If i move up, instantly comes down again. this is really annoying and stressful! I took a antivirus scan too, and nothing !!


My laptop is "lenovo legion"

Gtx 1650

16 Gb Ram

i5-9300h

Windows 10 Pro


I dont know any other information about the laptop, this is all i know...



Example: right now i want to click on category and it just closes it after 0.5 seconds...



I NEED HELP ASAP !

Up down left right arrows

Hi Laura,.

I suggest you to check if the following steps helps to resolve the issue.

• Right click on the Windows key and Go to control panel.
• On the upper right corner change the view by to small icon.
• Click on mouse.
• Then click on ‘wheel’ tab.
• Set the values for horizontal and vertical scrolling.

and see if it helps to resolve the issue.

Left and right reverse scrolling

This trackpad is driving me crazy! I fixed it so that scrolling up goes up and scrolling down goes down.... but my right is still left and left is still right! It is so maddening that it's backwards. Can anyone help me fix the left and right scrolling?

Touchpad settings can be customized depending on your preference.
Here are few things that you can try:

Method 1: Try changing the settings.

1. Open Settings.
   
2. Then click on Devices.
   
3. Then click on Touchpad.
   
4. Then click on Advance Settings.
   
5. Then go to Device settings and click on
   Settings.
   
6. Expand the Virtual Scrolling and then click on
   Defaults.
   
7. This should restore the touchpad settings to default.
   

Method 2: Please follow the suggestions provided by Louie Del in the thread:
Reverse the scroll of mouse.

I would also request you to uninstall the drivers from Device Manager and then reboot the device to see if that restores the Touchpad settings.
