Windows 10: Laptop Keyboard Input Delay?? please help

So I was playing a game and it was lagging a lot. I'd press one of the move keys and it would not only take a second to register but it would make me move for a second or two while my finger was off it. And it would only delay every now and then. I thought it was just the game but I couldn't find anything wrong with it. So I got off and went on to a google doc and held down a key to see how long it was normal between the lag and it was 12-13 seconds and I don't know what's wrong, I've tried troubleshooting my keyboard but it said nothing was wrong. Not to mention whenever it lags my mouse has

I have had this problem since I thought I had solved the chinese input. But, it turned out to be available for a few hours and then the IME is unavailable until next sign in.

In brief, to get the chinese input back, it need to sign out and sign in back and it will going to happen again continually.

Please tell me how to fix this.

Steps that don't worked for me:
- Alt + Shift
- Win + Space
- Setting the Chinese language as default language (worked for a while)

Hi, I think you may be able to resolve this by going to the control panel here:




and setting your desired input method as 'override' rather than 'Use Language list'

 

Keyboard Input Delay Problems in Games

Hello,

I have had keyboard input delay on my PC ever since I got it, about 2 years ago. It causes keyboard button presses to register late, or for longer than they are supposed to. This is especially noticeable while playing games but can happen anywhere as I have had a few spikes just typing something in the search bar on a browser.

There was a Windows update that completely resolved this problem about a year ago. But unfortunately, they are back after my PC installed a BIOS update about a month ago, and I started having input delay again. This problem occurs with every keyboard I have, it doesn't matter if it is USB or Bluetooth.

I already tried updating my keyboard drivers, in which it said I already have the latest version, and I also uninstalled and reinstalled the drivers, which didn't help with this issue.
