Windows 10: Laptop Keyboard Intermittently Working

Hi, i have a windows 11 laptop that has been having an issue for the past couple of weeks. I dropped it recently before the issues started like within a week or 2 and it caused a dent that presses in on the left side of the keyboard. The keys S Z alt control all have had issues and they randomly will stop working and then working. banging on the bottom of the laptop make it work with no issues sometimes and then shaking it will make it go back. ive removed the keys and cleaned below out in the housing and deleted the drivers.

My laptop keyboard is only working intermittently since I did a windows update to windows 10

 

laptop keyboard and touchpad don't work

I am using a Lenovo B590.

No recent changes -- I had it running next to my desktop downloading some genealogy data and when I tried to Alt-Tab to another screen I discovered the keyboard was no longer responsive.

I have been able to attach an external keyboard so I can now use the computer, but the laptop's keyboard is still dead. The Touchpad is intermittently responsive. The Touchpad keys (left and right) work, but the pad itself is intermittent.

 

Keyboard intermittently not working

My keyboard is intermittently not working on my HP Spectre 360. There will be certain keys that when pressed do nothing. Later on the same key will be working perfectly. So far, I've tried updating the driver, updating windows, uninstalling the keyboard and reinstalling it, and restarting the laptop. None of these have helped. I appreciate your help and feedback.
