Windows 10: Laptop Keyboard stopped working, can't sign in

Hello Microsoft community,I am running Windows 10 on a Xiaomi laptop. Yesterday I noticed my trackpad gestures weren't working, or at least the two finger scroll. This morning I tried to fix this by uninstalling the trackpad drivers intending to reinstall them. After rebooting I couldn't input my pin or password. It seems some of the keys still work such as the screen brightness and keyboard backlighting on the function keys. I tried locking and unlocking my keyboard which seems to work the cursor changes from flashing to solid and back but I still cannot type anything. So far I've tried res

Keyboard stopped working under Windows 10


I have an iMac dual booting Mac OSX and Windows 10 under Bootcamp. I have the normal iMac wireless keyboard.


Windows has been running normally for several years since the day I got the computer. Windows 10 has been running normally since the day I was able to automatically download it in August.


Today, my keyboard stopped working under Windows 10. I am writing this from the Mac side. The keyboard works perfectly and the battery power is 100% under Mac OSX.


When I boot to my Windows partition (which is the default) I have to use the keyboard to sign-in under Windows. The keyboard works fine for sign-in! Then, as soon as I get to my desktop, the keyboard stops working entirely. No key produces a letter. The cursor doesn't move. I hear a click in my headset when a key is pressed, but nothing happens.


The mouse works. If I reach the hardware and devices portion of the control panel, as far as I can tell things the keyboard device says it is working properly. I remember a wireless keyboard listed and a bluetooth keyboard and something called an HID device. Windows reports that they are working properly. I managed to open the troubleshooter using the mouse only and it couldn't find a problem.


I have turned the computer off and on several times.


Would someone be so kind as to suggest how I can find and fix the problem.

Built in keyboard not working

I recently purchased an ASUS ROG GL553VD Notebook Computer and a few weeks ago the keyboard stopped working. After a few restarts it worked again, but today the problem came back, and was not fixed by any amount of restarting. Several people on past posts said to reinstall they Keyboard driver, but there was no Keyboard section in the Device Manager. I am currently resetting the laptop to factory settings to see if that fixes the issue. Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

IT'S URGENT.

My laptop keyboard stopped working. Some keys are not working at all. This is an issue (a very BIG issue). Could anybody help me fix it??

I have also googled how to fix this issue, tried doing everything, all the steps they said. But it is not working at all.

The laptop keyboard does not work. But when I connect an external keyboard only it works. The external keyboard is working perfectly, but the laptop keyboard is not working.

VERY FEW KEYS ARE WORKING.

Please help me out. This is very important. It is also difficult for me to travel with these.

There are a lot of problems. And again, I am typing this question with the USB keyboard only.

I request, please help me out to fix this issue. I don't want to use the external keyboard every time. IT is a difficulty, please help me.
