Windows 10: Laptop Keyboard working when windows boots but in bios it doesnt work

Hello so i have an acer aspire v3 772 running windows 7 64 bit, its a discontinued model, The laptop keyboard doesnt work until windows boots and in bios but sometimes i shutdown my computer by the power button and i want to select the startup options when im facing the windows boot manager and it says windows did not shut down correctly yea and when i tap the space button on the laptop keyboard it removes the timer but still with an external keyboard it works in the bios and if your wondering my bios is insydeH20 rev 3.7 so i dont have a usb option and before i fixed something in it the shop

keyboard doesnt work on boot

i was in the middle of overclocking when all of a sudden the keyboard (ps/2) no longer works in POST. So i cant get into the bios options, i can just watch it boot up. Weird thing is the keyboard works once vista boots up.

The last thing i did in the bios was increase dram voltage from 2.20 to 2.24 or something like that, then when it rebooted i couldnt use the keyboard anymore.

Now its back at stock settings and still wont work outside of windows, no lights or anything.

I had problems with my keyboard (USB) on boot. Fixed buy unplugging all USB devices (except the keyboard) reboots, plugging them all back in, and it worked.

Hi all,

I have windows 7 installed on a ssd, and the boot time is quick! however Im wondering if its too quick, as the lights on the keyboard dont come on until im into windows, so I cant access the bios, I bought a cheap keyboard to make sure my ms sidewinder x4 wasnt broke.

Any suggestions?
