    Laptop lag after force shutdown


    Basically while i was playing a game i had to force shutdown the game since it froze, after trying to open my laptop again its way to laggy, i also notice it since the browser rakes way too long to load and some games including Valorant, Minecraft, etc. gets to 1fps then 100fps again and it goes to 1fps over and over so its unplayable. I tired sfc /scannow and it seems to find corrupted files but the it still lags. I also did msconfig by disabling all of the apps except Microsoft apps, it seems to work a little while then it goes back to lagging again.

    How to force shutdown on laptop lid close ?

    Hi,
    I want to force a shutdown when the user close the laptop lid even if MSWord is open and the document was not saved.
    Any suggestion ?

    We suggest that you follow the troubleshooting steps below to resolve the issues with the shutdown function of your laptop:

    • Type Troubleshooting in the search bar beside the Windows icon.
    • Select Troubleshooting from the results.
    • Under System and Security, select Fix Problems with Windows Update.
    • Choose Troubleshoot as an Administrator.

    Original title: my laptop wont shutdown.

    I go through the process and it freezes so i have to a force shutdown, even if try to put it sleep
