Windows 10: Laptop lagging a lot

I was getting BSOD earlierImage 1 and uninstalling windows quality update worked for me but now the laptop is literally taking 30 mins to open anything. Even the startup time has increased. I checked task manager and it shows 100% disk usage Image 2 even though no app is open. Most of the applications are disabled at startup

• What browser are you using when you experience a lag?
• Does the lag occur in a particular game?

In the meantime, we suggest you run the System Maintenance troubleshooter. Here are the steps:

• Press Windows Key + X.
• Click on Control Panel.
• Select Troubleshooting.
• On the left pane, click on View All.
• Click on System Maintenance to run the troubleshooter.

Really, you should be getting a list of laptops you like the look of, narrowing it down and then asking on here which is best.

Asking people for suggestions really doesn't work well as most people only have experience with 1-2 laptops at a time.

Searching all the shopping sites and creating a list for you is a lot of work.
