    Hi I created a bootable Pendrive for windows 11 using the Media Creation tool and I then did a clean install of windows 11, removing the previous oem version of win 11 that was running in my Dell Inspiron 5518. I even formatted all the drives too. Now my laptop is lagging and giving errors also it is very slow. Please help.

    Overheating issue in Inspiron 5518

    My Inspiron 5518 model is having an overheating issue during 15-30 mins of casual gaming. The manufacturer has provided several troubleshooting steps ,yet the problem is not solved. I requested them not to update drivers frequently as there may be a software issue causing the laptop to overheat. in a short span of time. I request you to assist me on this matter.

    Clean install of XP on Dell laptop?

    My friend has an inspiron laptop from dell. He got it with Vista preinstalled on it, but wants to switch back to XP. He got an XP Pro CD, but when he inserted it, the "Install XP Now" option was greyed out. I thought it might be dell trying to make life difficult when reinstalling windows. *Confused Laptop lagging after clean install of windows 11 on my Dell Inspiron 5518 using a bootable... :confused: Any advice??

    If I formatted the hard drive for him, NTFS, would I be able to clean install XP or would the prob still be there?
