    Laptop lagging after system restore


    So I bought a new laptop and I had created a restore point if something happens then I was playing fortnite and download something's to speed it up, as I did it I thought hmm I don't really like that and then activated my restore point, it was doing a system restore and I got impatient and tried to reboot it as I did I was holding the power button to shut it down, it did shutdown and I pressed the power button it start it, as it was starting I noticed that the restore was still happening and after the restore I restarted the laptop and after 2-3 days it started to lag, opening chrome slow and lagging, and still to this day it's lagging, please help me I cannot do my online classes and my exams are going to start.

    Random lag spikes

    Hi,

    We would like to know more about your lag issue:

    • What browser are you using when you experience a lag?
    • Does the lag occur in a particular game?

    In the meantime, we suggest you run the System Maintenance troubleshooter. Here are the steps:

    • Press Windows Key + X.
    • Click on Control Panel.
    • Select Troubleshooting.
    • On the left pane, click on View All.
    • Click on System Maintenance to run the troubleshooter.

    System Restore Not Working On A Laptop

    Two desktops have System Restore Working and Laptop is not working.

    Interesting is they have a System Restore Service and the Laptop Does not.

    All three had a clean install of 1607.

    Suggestions ?
