Windows 10: Laptop lagging when plugged in even with “fixed” power settings

My laptop keeps lagging only when it’s plugged in… I looked up how to fix the issue and they all say to edit the power settings. I’ve done that several times and it still lags. I’m not sure how to fix this issue. I thought maybe wilt was the charger itself so I bought a new one to no avail. I also checked to se me if it’s over hearing and it’s not. Please help

Sorry if I confused you. Let me clarify it step by step:

1-Put battery on the laptop and pulg in the charger. if it lags it means that the issue is from the charger.

2-Remove the battery and plug in the charger. if it lags without battery, be assuerd that the issue is from the charger.

3-Remove the battery and plug in the charger. if it doesnt lag without battery, is means that the issue is from the battery.

Laptop lags while Plugged in (charging)

Hi everyone,

I have a problem, my Laptop lags while Plugged in (charging) . I got dell inspiron 3480 about a year ago. I am facing a problem of lag while i am gaming or just web surfing. i have tried to fix the problem by changing additional power settings in power option
and updated my bios , i have updated my windows several time, i also tried to turn off intel turbo boost technology . these kind of solution never helped. Can anyone help me with this problem. it would really help me.
