Windows 10: Laptop Lenovo Yoga 7i 82BH connecting to monitor which still says 'no signal'

I have a Lenovo Yoga 7i 82BH which I use for both school and home. My dad gave me an old monitor he had, and this worked for a while. But quite recently about a month ago the monitor started blacking out while I was connected to it, and Display Settings shows it's still connected. Usually the issue fixes itself quite quickly within a minute but as of recently the monitor just says "Computer not sending signal" or "No signal detected" which it hasn't before.Here's what I found out:1. Dell monitor not connecting to Lenovo Yoga 82BH unless laptop is plugged into a charging cable

Hi there,

I have an issue where my monitor doesn't connect to my lenovo 82BH unless the laptop is plugged in and charging. I don't like this as I like to keep the battery around the 80% to prolong battery life and when I pull out the charging cable the monitor disconnects. It's my dad's old one, and it worked fine for him even when his device wasn't charging. In case this is important I'm using a DVI-USBc port to connect it to my laptop.

 

Connecting Windows 11 Laptop to External Pixio Monitor?

Hi all! Does anyone know if it's possible to connect a Lenovo Yoga 7i laptop running on Windows 11 to an external Pixio monitor? My driver has been updated and cords and power sources should be working, but my laptop has been unable to detect a signal from the monitor. Has anyone had this issue or figured out a way around this? My Lenovo (or maybe just the windows operating system) has been incredibly finicky in terms of what it's externally compatible with, so any advice is much appreciated!
