Windows 10: laptop lid connection causing mouse cursor jumping /freezing

Want to get solution to the above problem.The mouse cursor, occasionally, freezes, disappears, and jumps.I have tried all the driver updates, reset the system, change cursor settings etc.I later detected that, when the laptop lid is flipped or adjusted, the cursor begins to freez, disappear and jumping again.Please, what do I do to get problem solved once and for all. Thanks

Jumping mouse cursor

Mouse cursor keeps jumping out of control. I've uninstalled it (there were 3 listed under the mouse device) and then updated the device driver. Didn't fix it. What do I do?
