Windows 10: Laptop locked due to family safty app

Hi everyone I have children with alot of tech and I monitor the tech with family safty for Windows and family link for android. My daughter has a Samsung touch screen laptop and as I said it had a screen time limit. She hasn't used it for a long time and tried to go on it today and some how it seems to be disconnected from my family safty account. When I click on her name it says no windows devices connected and when I load up the laptop it says she needs to request more time but when she clicks that it says the request cannot be sent. It is definitely connected to the Internet and when I clic

Welcome : As far as I know, you can Not get rid of

Family Safety app : in windows 8 : 8.1 - Etc,. a user

can only "Disable or Enable" the family safety app

Report if you have ever "Enable=Activated" the

Family Safety app - in windows 8 : if Yes, you can

Disable it only : The way shown below

press the [Windows key] on your keyboard..

The tiles Start screen opens > click the search icon

on the upper > Right corner and

type [Control panel] >click on 1st line, that says

Control panel >The Control-Panel. screen opens

if the "Control panel" is in > Category view > click the

down-Arrow to changed to > icons view : Now look

for the icon-Line, that says "Family Safety" click it

the Family Safety website opens : Again if you had Enabled

the - Family safety app : Go down to - Line 7 - click on

accounts and follow, steps to Disable it : you've

to roll it back to "Standard" Hope this helps

Mail app will not open on 10041.

This is the suggested solution below if you haven't already tried it.

In this Windows 10 build 10041, the Mail, Calendar, and People apps may be broken due to a licensing issue with the Store Beta. To get these apps working again, you need to follow these steps:

• Open powershell as administrator
• Run the command Get-appxprovisionedpackage –online | where-object {$_.packagename –like “*windowscommunicationsapps*”} | remove-appxprovisionedpackage –online
• Re-install Mail, People and Calendar from the Store (green tile)
