Windows 10: Laptop Locking automatically while playing games.

My laptop seems to be locking automatically while playing graphically demanding games like Red dead redemption 2. I tried updating everything , but even after updating the problem persists. My system detailsell G3 15 35008gb RAM512 GB SSDGPU: Nvidia 1650 tiIntel i7-10750h

My Laptop automatically Locking and Shutdown when playing hard Games

I'm using a Hp Pavilion Laptop, Windows version 10. When i'm using it for Movie or playing some lightly Software, nothing happens. But when i do some hard Software or playing AAA games ( most of them are Open-Word games) for about 30 Minute, a Locking
screen show up and my Laptop just suddenly Shutdown even my Laptop meets the Recommended System for the game or the software i played. If anyone know how to fix it, pls help me.

 

laptop doesnt boot automatically

This is what happened.

1. Did a repair install and later disabled hibertnate in CMD.
2. Enabled legacy option ROM in BIOS.
3. After a few times startup ( i used the system in such mode for 5 days), changed boot option back to default.
4. Vola!! It boots automatically to win10 without any keypress. Tested it with many starts to confirm the same.
5. Re-enabled hibernate option using CMD and later selected Fast Startup.
6. System booted normally, without the need for any keypress.

I do not know exactly whether such steps resolved the problem or what else happened, hence cannot suggest above steps.

Laptop goes to sleep when the LID is closed while playing the game.

To assist you better, I suggest you to answer the below questions.

• Have you connected the external monitor to the Laptop?
• Did you make any recent changes prior to the issue?
• Are you facing this issue specifically when playing the specific Game?
• Are you facing this issue after any recent updates installed?

This issue might have caused due to the power settings for the closing of LID is set to sleep mode.

I suggest you to follow the below steps and check if it helps.

• Press Windows + X keys and select the Control Panel.
• Select Power options by searching in search box.
• Right side select Change Plan setting next to the power plans.
• Select the Change advanced Power plan settings.
• Under the list select and expand Power buttons and lid.
• Select Turn off the display under the drop down of setting.
• Click Apply. Ok.
• Close the LID and Check if the issue resolves.
