    Laptop loops inaccessible boot device bsod and cannot access automatic repair


    Exactly what the subject says. If I start it I just get the bsod, but what's even worse is that every fix I find online has to do with the automatic repair and the laptop won't show it. Force power off 3 times or f9, nothing works. It just loops the bsod without ever showing the Automatic repair I got the laptop weeks ago and I'm desperate, have assignments due Monday, I need my laptop please help me

    BSOD: inaccessible boot device, can't automatic repair

    So today my pc kept getting a BSOD (inaccessible boot device) on boot.

    When rebooting in automatic repair and choosing the startup repair option, it kept asking me for my microsoft account password, but when I type that in, it keeps telling me the password is incorrect. I am 100% sure the password is right and it is the password
    that is stored on the device.

    I also tried to recover my pc with a windows installation medium with the repair my computer option, but it seems like the medium couldnt even detect my Windows boot disk.

    Does anyone knows a solution for repairing this pc without losing my settings, applications,... cause a refresh isn't really an option.

    Your concern regarding the device going into an Automatic Repair Loop can be caused by change on its settings/configuration or broken system files. To effectively assist you with your concern, can confirm if you've made any changes on your device prior to
    your concern?

    As an initial step to get back into the normal Windows screen, we suggest that you perform a
    Startup repair. The repair will attempt to fix any broken components/files which may prevent your device from booting properly. To do this, follow the steps below:

    • On theAutomatic Repair screen, select Advanced options.
    • Select Troubleshoot.
    • Select Advanced options.
    • Select Startup Repair.
