    Dell Inspiron 13 7391, i5-10210U, 16 GB, 512 GB.

    Initially, I thought that it was an update issue, so I uninstalled them. Then I went to the Dell site to get help and I was given generic directions which included checking OS updates (irony!), checking driver updates, resetting power plans to default, etc.

    NOTHING WORKED!

    I then searched many forums who claimed everything removing the hibernation option via CMD, to resetting my RAM, to cleaning my fans. I did all of these and nothing worked.

    What other options are there!?

    Win7 Pro Laptop crashes when resumes from sleep

    Ok almost positive it related to the wifi card/driver. If I disable it in the device manager my laptop sleeps and resumes just fine.

    So I guess first step would to be try to find a different driver and if that doesnt work I guess I can replace it. Used mini pci-e wifi cards are pretty cheap.

    Thank you for your reply. I have tried the two steps (turning of Hybrid sleep and Fast startup) you suggested but to no avail. Okay, for your two questions:

    1. My laptop is a HP Pavilion 14-bf101tx, and currently running Windows 10 1903 (upgrading from 1809).
    2. Nope. No error messages. I suppose the boot process was successful, however, my battery was reduced. That's why I suggest the post title as "Hibernating changes to sleep behaviour" because the battery level reduction looks like sleep behaviour.

    Please inform me of any diagnostics information you might need. Thank you for your kind assistance.

    Win7 Pro Laptop crashes when resumes from sleep

    Need some help here guys. I bought a new (refurb) laptop a few weeks ago from lenovo outlet. Just a basic n585 to replace my netbook. It came with Windows 8 but I pulled the HDD and installed a OCZ vertex 2 80gb SSD in there for a windows 7 install. The laptop works great but 9/10 when it resumes from sleep it crashes and reboots. I have re-installed windows 3-4 times now with no fix. What do you think? Maybe a driver issue?

    Model # - Lenovo n585
    CPU/Chipset: AMD E1-1200
    Ram: 3GB (1x2gb & 1x1GB ddr3)
    SSD: OCZ Vertex II - 80gb
    OS: Windows 7 Pro 32bit
