Windows 10: Laptop, not being able to boot up from the USB Windows 7

Discus and support Laptop, not being able to boot up from the USB Windows 7 in Windows 10 Gaming to solve the problem; I have a Dell Inspiron 14 and a Windows 7 USB that might be corrupted.     Laptop, not being able to boot up from the USB Windows 7


    I have a Dell Inspiron 14 and a Windows 7 USB that might be corrupted. When I boot from usb it says there is a missing cd/dvd drive and insert it now. Is there and windows 7 installation media You have? The computer is 32GB with 2GB Ram.

    Hello Jimmy, Laptop, not being able to boot up from the USB Windows 7 :)

    This doesn't list the "Surface Laptop", but you might give it a try to see.

    *Arrow Boot Microsoft Surface from a USB device

    Otherwise, you should be able to use OPTION ONE below to boot from the USB from advanced startup.

    Installing windows off of a USB stick

    Step By Step from vista:
    From admin cmd prompt

    1. diskpart
    1a. list disk
    2. select disk 1 (replace 1 with your usb drive)
    3. clean
    4. create partition primary
    5. select partition 1 (replace 1 with your usb drive)
    6. active
    7. format fs=fat32
    8. assign
    9. exit

    Copy Windows Vista's DVD ROM content to the Flash Drive

    xcopy d:\*.* /s/e/f e:\ (d being your vista cd and e being your usb stick)

    And that's it, boot off your usb disk
