Windows 10: Laptop not connecting to screen cabled

Hello!!I've always worked with a Dell laptop connected to a Dell Monitor Displayport to USB C .Few days ago the Monitor stopped to recognize the connection with the laptop. I tried everything I could considering that:- The monitor doesn't recognize my laptop neither with a cable Displayport to HDMI- The monitor do recognize another laptop Asus -Displayport to Displayport-- My laptop do recognize a Monitor HDMI to HDMI.- My laptop do NOT recognize another Dell Monitor Displayport to HDMI / Displayport to USB CIt looks too complicated for me!!!Thanks in advance for your help

Laptop with broken screen How much?

I would like suggestions and look in local stores. I dont wanna buy a laptop from someone online. Sorry. But could be a good idea if you asked him about the performance on older games. Gonna make a list ofall laptops people suggest me.

Remove the screen for space purpose here its small desk and if the screen is opened it will hide my 22 inches lcd

• What is the model number of your laptop?
  
• Do you have a yellow exclamation on the network icon after connecting the cat 7 cable?
  

However, you can follow the troubleshooting steps from
Fix network connection issues in Windows.

Also, I suggest you to check the laptop manual or laptop manufacturer to know whether the Ethernet port of your laptop supports cat 7 cable.

Lap top to television screen by hdmi cable

I would suggest you to try the below steps and check if it works:

Kindly follow the below steps:

Step 1:

I would suggest you to disconnect the HDMI cable and try to connect it by following these steps.

a. Turn off your computer and position it within easy reach of your TV. Disconnect the monitor, but leave the mouse and keyboard connected.

b. Connect the appropriate video cable from your computer's output to your TV.

c. Turn on your TV and set it to the input that matches the output on your computer. You might need to refer to the user's guide included with your TV for instructions on how to do this.

d. Turn on your computer.

e. You should see Windows displayed on your TV. If the screen looks stretched, or part of the screen seems cut off, you probably need to adjust the screen resolution in Windows.

f. If you can't see Windows on your TV, you might need to reconnect the computer to your monitor and adjust the screen resolution before you connect to your TV.



Step 2: To adjust screen resolution follow this steps:

• 
  Right click on the screen and select
  Display settings.
  
• 
  Click on Advanced display settings.
  
• 
  Set the resolution to recommended level. (recommended level varies from device to device)
