  1. Laptop not register headset/headphones when plugging in.

I have a Dell XPS 13 7390 laptop and the problem is that whenever I plug in my headphones they are not registering as being plugged in. At the moment right now, in the sound control panel thing, the Headphones say they are ready, but the my headphones are not even plugged in. After I plug them in it says that it's not plugged in.Edit: So apparently on the waves maxxaudio pro. Whenever I unplug my headphones it detects that a headphone is being plugged in.

    :)

    Headset microphone not being recognized

I have used this headset with the laptop before, and I have used both the mic and the headphones with it. However, I just went to use it again after some time, and my laptop doesn't recognize the mic with it. The sound still goes through the headphones,
and it registers it as such, but there is no option for the mic, the only available input listed is the laptop's built in mic.

Previously, there would be that "What Device Was Plugged In?" Popup, where you could select whether you had plugged in a headset or headphones. That no longer pops up, and I have failed to find a setting to reenable it, as was suggested when I was looking to
solve this problem on other question on the subject.

How can I get my computer to register that there is a microphone associated?

  3. My Laptop Won't Register My Headset/Mic

I got a new laptop (Acer Aspire) as well as a headset (Kotion Each G2000) recently and my headset has 3 parts to plug in (a mic chord, a headphone `chord, and a USB), but the laptop only has one port for mic and headphone. I plug the USB in to try and
see if it registers on my laptop and it doesn't register as having anything plugged in the USB port. I had found a response on this forum saying to troubleshoot and when I did, it told me to reset, which I did, but it did not solve the issue. The alternative
solution was to uninstall all USB devices and then reinstall them but I'm not entirely sure how to reinstall so I'm weary about trying it. Is there any solution?

    Headphones Not Detected

Wasn't sure what topic to put this under.

Windows 10 refuses to detect my headphones from my headset. The mic is fine. The computer even recognizes when I plug the headphones of the headset in. But it refuses to detect them. I can go into my Sound in Control Panel all day, and there will NEVER be any
headphones in that list. So, no, I cannot click headphones, just making that clear before someone suggests clicking on headphones.

How do I force Windows 10 to detect the headphones that I have plugged in, so that they will work? The jack is working fine. When I plug them in it gives me the pop-up letting me know that I plugged something into the jack. But that's the end of it. It will
not detect the headphones. Nothing comes out of them. There are no headphones in the Sound list. There is nothing. Nada. Zip. Zero. Zilch. Why does it register something is plugged in and then refuse to detect it?

Someone please figure out why Windows 10 simply cannot detect headphones and help me fix this so I can use my headset.
