    Hi,


    I was doing a Windows Update yesterday when all of a sudden my ASUS UX360U laptop froze. Not thinking much of it, I turned the laptop off and back on again thinking this would solve it.

    The computer booted into a BSOD with a : a couple of times in a row.

    After turning it off again, it now goes only to the BIOS and does not recognize the only C drive.


    I thought this killed my hard drive so I went out and purchased a new SSD m.2 only to find out it does not recognize this new drive either pic below.


    Anyone have any idea what has happened and how I can fix it?

    How to format hard drive and still keep windows 10?

    Hi all,

    I have a laptop that came with windows 7. I just recently updated to windows 10 with the OTA update.

    I would like to clean out my hard drive but still want to keep a genuine windows 10 (like I have installed a fresh copy of windows 10). How can I do it?

    Image it to another drive with Acronis or Norton Ghost.

    no, you can't go back..
    I suggest creating a backup image of your os drive
